If you have two insurance providers, we’ll direct bill your primary insurer, and you can submit the receipt to your secondary insurer for reimbursement.

Consults are covered under "naturopathic medicine", "naturopathic doctor", "naturopathy",  or "naturopath", subject to your plan's stipulations.

Drugs prescribed are covered under your drug benefits, subject to your plan's limitations.

Testing and supplements are usually not covered except under your health spending account (HSA). We like Brock Health.

Lab testing is private pay, with LifeLabs as our primary provider. All testing requires out-of-pocket payment.

We also offer advanced, comprehensive testing through private pay lab companies.

Test costs depend on your unique health needs, which we determine together during your visit.

For a naturopathic consult, it all starts with a 60-minute initial visit.

Returning patients can then choose between 30-, 45-, and 60-minute appointments.

We offer these via:

These options apply specifically to naturopathic consultations and do not include Botox, IVs, and iron infusions, which have different appointment structures and durations. 

Please note that we only practice within BC and the Yukon.

Prescriptions are typically refilled for 3 to 6 months, depending on your condition, medication, and individual needs.

If it’s been more than 6 months since your last appointment, a 30-minute check-in is required to refill your prescriptions. A lot can change in 6 months, and this helps us stay updated on your health and provide proper monitoring and care.

**To remain eligible for prescription refills, there must be no more than 6 months between visits.**

The $40 prescription refill fee covers the time and expertise required to review your medical history and ensure your medication remains appropriate, even without an appointment. 

This process ensures safety standards are met. The fee supports the professional oversight necessary to prioritize your well-being.

Yes, we’re happy to advocate for you and collaborate with your MD or NP.

We regularly work with medical doctors, nurse practitioners, and specialists. We speak their language and can address your needs clearly and professionally on your behalf.

We’ve built strong, friendly, and regular relationships with many healthcare providers and specialists, which makes coordination smooth and efficient.

Yes! We're more than happy to provide a second opinion, research review, or general health education for those living outside of BC.

However, it's important to note that there are a handful of limitations:

• Unless you are physically present in BC at the time of this appointment, we cannot diagnose, order labs or imaging, prescribe medications, or in any way act as your primary care physicians.
• These consults are for educational purposes only, and do not substitute for proper medical care.
• As such, this service is not covered by medical malpractice or extended health benefits.
• Note that you are reserving our undivided attention within the appointment time scheduled, and though we're happy to receive your past medical records, labwork, etc., in advance, it cannot be expected that these will be thoroughly reviewed prior to meeting with you at your appointment time.
